Not in Texas anymore

Well hello there family!
I am safe and sound in Dresden, Germany =) Yay! Everything went really smoothly. I am just super sleepy, but trying to stay up so I can get used to the time change faster. I am currently 7 hours ahead of Texas. I am sitting here with a couple of friends that I just met who I will be going to school with. We will be at the airport a while waiting for more of us to arrive. From here the plan is to catch a train to Lobau and then staff from our school will pick us up. Prayers for energy and safety are appreciated! I miss everyone very much already. I am pretty overwhelmed, but I know the Lord has a ton in store for me, you and everyone else that will be at YWAM Herrnhut with me. He will give us all the peace and comfort we need =) Take care family!! And enjoy some photos I've taken so far.

Family breakfast before yesterday morning before we headed to the airport. My stomach was in such knots, I hardly ate. But very thankful for this moment right here!

Walk way to my flight out of Lubbock. I may or may not have been crying walking down this. haha

Right before take off!

Flying over Texas. I love clouds.

GERMANY!!!! =)

On the trolley to catch the flight to Dresden. Kinda creepy I know.

Frankfurt airport. It was a massive airport! 4 Levels. I was patted down at security and had to be taken aside in an office to get one of my camera lenses checked out. That was kinda awkward, but all is well.

Dinner on the flight from Houston to Frankfurt. Chicken! It was actually pretty good!

Hahah I will label this as my first "Ohhhh Allie" moment. I had the window seat next to two older men. When asked what we wanted to drink I thought he said tea, so I said I would have the same. Either Tea is german for beer or I just heard wrong. Either way I tried my first German beer while flying over the ocean! haha It wasn't that great, but cool to say I tried it.

On my 9hr and 45min flight to Frankfurt I decided to read all the letters my family and friends wrote. I was proud that I waited until I actually left to read them. But it was definitely God's timing. I was freaking out when I got on the plane to Frankfurt, crazy overwhelming! But words of encouragement, truth and wisdom definitely gave me peace. I wrote down a few things that stuck out to me when reading everyones letters. Thank you so much friends! Y'all are the absolute best!!!

Cool screen showing our progress in flight.

The massive plane I was on from Houston to Frankfurt.

MOON! Houston to Frankfurt flight. Pretty dang beautiful seeing His creation in a way I usually don't get to.
